This government-funded program brought tens of thousands of high school students to Canada's capital from across the country for week-long educational camps. The registration, finance and travel management system was built to be the backbone of the program's core operations, enabling administrators, accountants, travel agents, participants, teachers, regional coordinators and alumni in their day-to-day roles.

Modern UI

In 2020, after more than a decade of successful operation, the entire system was rebuilt from the ground up using a modern tech stack. An entirely custom interface was designed and built for the participant and teacher system, streamlining the attendee experience from initial registration to arrival on-site, and beyond.

Customized Admin

The administrator system for staff, accountants, travel agents and regional coordinators was a highly-customized deployment of Django's contributed admin interface. Tons of features were custom-implemented and themed, easing everyday tasks with a modern, powerful and efficient UI.

Public Site

EWC's public website gave students, educators, alumni and the general public a window into the program, and provided them with the information and pathways they needed to get involved.
