Are immunizations effective? Which countries need more international aid for health programs? Which diseases require renewed focus to combat? Using data from the World Health Organization, this tool visualizes the effectiveness of immunization strategy in African nations. This project was created as part of a UC Berkeley Master of Information and Data Science degree.
Advanced Visualization
The D3.js visualization library was used to create sophisticated representations of continent-wide trends, along with corresponding disease incidence. Aggregate and country-specific data are presented together in an easy to follow format.
Users have fine-grained control over the visualization parameters, with the ability to zero in on individual countries, timeframes and immunization types.
